Emil Rousseau

Emil est doctorant à la chaire « Transformations durables et bien-être » au sein du collectif de recherche Swifft de la VUB-ULB.

Biography / Description

I am a PhD researcher with a background in environmental anthropology and philosophy. My research engages with the concept of the pluriverse, exploring the sometimes conflictual co-existence of diverse ways of being and relating to the living and more-than-human world.

Bridging critical sustainability science with empirical inquiry, I am investigating community-led peri-urban landscape regeneration in Brussels through the practices of agroecology and rewilding.
