Conference of the Sustainable Welfare and Eco-Social Policy Network

We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for the first in-person Conference of the Sustainable Welfare and Eco-Social Policy Network, taking place in Brussels from 9 to 11 September 2026.
Hosted by the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and jointly organized by the Network, ULB, the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI), the MERGE project, and the WELRISCC project, the conference brings together scholars from different disciplines working on the interactions between social and ecological issues.
The conference welcomes contributions addressing eco-social topics in a broad sense, such as :
It will be preceded by the Eco-Welfare Network’s 3rd Summer School (7–9 September 2026).
If you would like to participate, please submit an abstract by 13 February 2026. The full call for both the conference and the summer school is attached.
