Field of activity
I have a PhD in Science from ULB and specialise in the issue of biological invasions. I have worked in the fields of evolutionary ecology, biogeochemistry, societal perception of environmental issues and the development of tools to aid political decision-making. For the past 10 years, my focus has been on the science-policy-practice interface, where I facilitate decision-making processes in the field of biodiversity protection at various levels (regional, Belgian, European and international). I contribute as an expert to IPBES, the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services. I also work on the Belgian Platform for Biodiversity.
