Eugénie Stoclet holds a Master's degree in Geopolitics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in partnership with the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS Ulm). Since the end of 2020 she has been doing her PhD at the SONYA research center. She is also part of the East Asian Research Center (EASt) of the Maison des Sciences Humaines of the ULB.
She is interested in the impacts -present and future- of climate change on water in a transboundary basin (the Syr Darya) through the perceptions of actors. She aims to understand how, according to Kyrgyz actors, climate change is likely to impact the water sharing inside Kyrgyzstan and with the other countries of the Syr Darya basin.

Thesis : « Climate change: a game changer for the sharing of the Syr Darya water by Kyrgyzstan? »
More specifically, I am interested in the perceptions that the various Kyrgyz actors and decision-makers have with regard to this cooperation and climate change.
