INFORMAS 2.0: Towards harmonized indicators for measuring progress on creating healthy and sustainable food systems
The International Network for Food and Obesity/Non-communicable Diseases Research, Monitoring and Action Support (INFORMAS) develops and deploys research modules that allow researchers and civil society to measure and benchmark the strengths and weaknesses of their national and local food environments. This research makes it possible to track the common underlying drivers of obesity, undernutrition, and climate change.
Project Specific Objectives:
    •    Define and track priority actions for public (at municipal and national level) actors for healthy and sustainable food systems
    •    Adapt and strengthen protocols for the public sector with respect to food system sustainability, through pilot testing in a range of national and municipal jurisdictions in West-African countries
