Abe Hendriks was our guest at SONYA’s first Inspiration Talks

SONYA’ first session of Inspiration Talks welcomed Abe Hendriks (Utrecht University) for a lecture on Governing sustainability: exploring the influence of time.

SONYA started a new series of Inspiration Talks. These 2-hour sessions aim to bring together all SONYA researchers in a spirit of free debate, dialogue, discussion and reflection on sustainability research in the broadest sense. This series’ theme is Temporality – engaging with past-present-futures and beyond.

For our first session we welcomed Abe Hendriks (Utrecht University) for a lecture on Governing sustainability: exploring the influence of time. Abe talked about the relationships between sustainability research and time, offered different perspectives on time, and proposed to engage in a futuring exercise. SONYA’s researchers exchanged with each other about the role of temporality in their own academic research. We thank Abe for his inspiring talk!
