Description

After my studies (MA environmental planning & MSc social-political philosophy, Universiteit van Amsterdam) and doctoral dissertation (transitions studies/public administration, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam) I joined SONYA/ the Centre d’Etudes du Développement Durable (CEDD) in 2014. My research is focused on the dynamics and governance of ‘sustainability transitions’ and societal innovations. Sustainability transitions are long-term structural changes in societal subsystems (mobility; energy; food) that result from innovations in social relations, technology, institutions and infrastructures. This research combines insights from innovation studies, Science & Technology Studies, governance studies, and sociology.
